Should I Take Supplements For Medical Problems?

There is a huge debate about if supplements should be taken for medical problems or not. One fear is that there could be some misleading information provided about the benefits of the supplements.

Some believe that St.John's Wort, Ginkgo, Kava, Garlic and other supplements are a waste of time while others debate and notice the changes when they are not on the supplements. Most supplements are not recommened if you are on any medications for a lot of reasons but yet a lot make the mistake of mixing them together because of the misleading information and not knowing that mixing is harmful.

If you are taking herbal supplements the best thing is to always document how you are feeling each day. Watch out for side effects and inform your doctor of any changes that happen right away. If you have concern or if something works you can always talk online and find support groups that can reply and help or encourage you.
