Who Needs to Take Calcium Supplements?

People who are slim or postmenopausal females are likely to face calcium deficiency problem in their life. These people are required to take calcium supplements to overcome the bone sickness problems. They must be eaten on regular basis in order to assure long term relief from calcium related problems.  People who are not able to intake sufficient amount of calcium in their day to day life needs to have calcium supplements. Every one cannot take these supplements otherwise they will harm you more them proving beneficial to you. Pregnant women or nursing mother and young kids might require taking calcium supplements as during that time one needs to have higher levels of calcium intake.

If the children or pregnant women are taking adequate amount of food that has proper proportion of calcium then there is no need to take calcium supplements.
